“Some spaces are made for living. Others—for staying a while.”

About Project

Set atop a quiet bungalow, this terrace lounge came from a simple idea: a place to relax. The client asked for a calm and flexible spot—a space to read, watch movies, take a break, or spend time with others. What came to life is a warm, peaceful corner designed for comfort and quiet use.

Built for the In-Between

Not fully inside, not fully out—this outdoor lounge is that special space between the house and the open sky. Surrounded by natural teak wood and framed in stone, it strikes a balance between cozy and open, private and airy.

The seating curves around the space, making it easy to enjoy in different ways—strong enough for movie nights, soft enough for quiet afternoons. A built-in projector transforms the space into a small home theatre when the lights go down. In daylight, it becomes a peaceful reading nook, always connected to the breeze.

Small Spaces, Big Thought

Right next to the lounge, the small pantry and washroom carry the same design look. They’re clean, compact, and detailed, without trying too hard. The pantry catches the afternoon light, using wood finishes and soft blinds to keep it warm. The washroom may be tucked away, but its stone-textured walls, mirrors, and floating shelves make it feel spacious and grounded.

A Space That Grows With You

This terrace isn’t just an extra. It’s a real part of the home. It fits into your day and your life—whether it’s a quiet morning with a book, a family movie night, or a last-minute get-together with friends.

It’s a space to welcome you in. Designed not just for today, but for how life flows and changes over time.

Texture First, Then Light

The materials were picked to feel familiar and get better over time. Teak wood brings warmth, softening the bold shapes of the space. Fluted blinds let in just the right amount of sunlight, casting shifting shadows throughout the day. Rough stone and smooth leather create a calm contrast that feels natural.
