MKM Architecture is a multidisciplinary Architecture, Interior design and Project management design firm co-founded by Ar. Karan Malushte & Ar. Mohana Kanitkar in 2014.
We are a young and a dynamic firm based in Pune, striving for progressive high caliber design and quality. The strength of our team stands in understanding the client’s requirements and delivering it by imbibing an integrated design approach through rigorous study, client interactions, exploration of visual, spatial and socio-cultural elements. Every conversation with client helps us to deduce and comprehend the project better, thus evolving and making it unique. Over the years MKM has grown from a small home studio to a well established design firm having completed over 75+ projects and 20+ ongoing ones.

Ar. Karan Malushte

Ar. Karan Malushte graduated as a gold medalist from Pune University in 2011.
Inspired as a child to build and design, Karan spent his early childhood building architectural models with his grandfather who was an Architect. After gaining valuable experience within the industry as well as helping other young architects by sharing his knowledge and passion, he built up a reputation as an expert in his field. Karan believes in learning something new every day is the best way to stay creative
He is a passionate sportsman and athlete and believes in putting his complete heart and energy into each and every moment, be it at work or in sports.
Ar. Mohana Kanitkar

Mohana graduated from Pune University in 2010. Coming from a business family, she was always inclined towards the business development and project management aspect of the firm. Having a master’s degree in Project management from University of Manchester (UK); she focuses on management of all the projects and office. Well read and approachable, Mohana can have a conversation with any person, be it a 80 yr old uncle who stays on the lower floor of our office building or a senior management executive from a blue chip company.
Mohana has been the pivotal pillar behind MKM Architecture’s philosophy, ethos and office culture.

The firm undertakes turnkey interior design projects thus seamlessly binding design and execution process. Main advantage of having in house execution team is having flawless coordination between site and design drawings, thus reducing time and in return cost.
Over the period of years, we realized that 3D visualizations help clients understand design in much deeper sense than 2D drawings. It made design process more interactive. Hence, we partnered with Three Dot Studio to enhance our presentation skills. Headed by Ar. Karan Malushte, Three dot studio runs as an individual 3D visualization firm having clients from Pune, Mumbai and Singapore.
KP associates was formed in partnership with Mr. Bhikaji Patil, a very senior ret. government officer. He has over 25 years of experience in town planning department. KP Associates deals with liasioning aspect of architectural projects and has a very reputed clientele in its resume.
